HALLOWEEN 2009

Trey was a farmer for Halloween. We had a busy Halloween. He helped pass out candy at the church and then we got home and he made it around the neighborhood in 30 minutes.

Chuck & I went out to dinner in Athens with some friends.
Chad dressed up like a guy from the 80's. I still can't get over that moustache. Creepy!!

THE TURTLE RACE & TREY'S 1ST DAY OF SCHOOL

I am finally posting a picture of Trey on his first day of 4th grade. So far so good. He is just trying to get used to getting up so early.

Yesterday after running the 5k race we went to see our turtle race. It didn't win but the money went to a good cause. Those turtles sure did move slowly.

Trey found a good way to cool down as we watched the turtles.

Beahan Sunday School Cookout

Today our family and 50 other people went to the Bear's for a sunday school cookout. Luckily it didn't rain so most of us could hang out outside. We were all surprised to see the Clark's there.

All the "real" men hung out by the grill.

The highlight for the kids was definitely the zipline.

S'Mores at the end of the party. What a treat!! Unfortunately this means the end of the summer. Thanks for a great time everyone!!

OUR FIRST POST: TRIP TO DAHLONEGA

Today we went to Dahlonega with our friends Beth & Chad. First we stopped to eat because Trey and Chuck can always eat.

Then we went to the gold mine to test our luck.

Well we didn't strike it rich so we decided to go tubing. I wish I had my camera when we were tubing to get a picture of Chuck flipping over backwards on his tube.

Then we went to the gold mine to try and strike it rich and see some miniature horses.
